Hi Sarah,

Please compile your own list from our resources and you can explain to your teacher why you picked each volcano: Largest Explosive Eruptions Since 1500 AD (http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/vw_hyperexchange/largest_erups.html) Blasts from the Past - Great Eruptions http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/vw_hyperexchange/great_erupts.html Largest Eruptions in the Last 10,000 Years http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/vw_hyperexchange/vei_larger_5.html The Deadliest Eruptions http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/vw_hyperexchange/deadly_volcs.html Volcanoes are made of lava and tephra (http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/frequent_questions/top_101/Volcanoes/Volcanoe s4.html). Parts of volcanoes, with drawings, are described in Magma Pathways (http://volcano.und.edu/vwdocs/vwlessons/magma_pathways/introduction.html).

Sincerely,
Steve Mattox
