What is the name of the most recent volcano discovered in the Hawiian volcanic chain? I believe it is still under water. Thankyou.

Dear Michael,

You are right. Loihi is still underwater (submarine in geology jargon). The summit of the volcano is still about 3,000 feet (900 m) below sea level. Loihi probably won't reach sea level for tens of thousands of years or maybe even a couple of hundred thousand years.
