I would like to have some information about the Pele's legend

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I was unable to find any
information regarding old Hawaiian stories about Pele's hair and Pele's
tears. The reason why is that these are not old Hawaiian terms. Pele's
hair is a term thought up by the American geologist James Dana back in
1890. Pele's tears is a term thought up by the American Geologist Frank
Perret. I hope that both of them decided to use these names out of
respect for Pele.
