The best answer to your question is to point you to the Cascades Volcano Observatory home page. They have a lot of information about Mt. St. Helens (as well as info about other volcanoes). They have the latest information on what the volcano has done, which areas on the volcano are presently closed to the public, etc. They have much more information than I have, and it is more current.
