MattDear Matt,
Mount Damavand, a stratovolcano in northern Iran, has not erupted in historical time (500 AD). It is Holocene in age which means it probably has been active in the last 10,000 years. A 1,300 foot (400 m) crater is at the summit of Mount Damavand. It usually contains a lake.
