I was wondering if Popocatepetl has a chance of erupting, and if so what will be done to help the people the people living near it?

Of course Popocatepetl has a chance of erupting - it's been erupting since 1994! The people know it is active and have been evacuated from the most dangerous parts. Hopefully there will be warning of larger blasts but otherwise the only true safety precaution is evacuation.
