I am doing a report in school on the volcano Patchian. I don't think
the spelling is right. It went off in a flat field in Mexico. It came out
of nowhere and formed. I would like info on this or at least find some
place on the Net that tells about this volcano. If you can help me that
would be great because none of the other kids have found anything on it and
neither has the teacher. Thanks for your help.

Try using the VolcanoWorld Searcher in VW, looking for Paricutin.
You will find some photos and a little bit of text; also there is a book
published by the Smithsonian Inst. referenced too. If you look in almost
any volcano textbook you will find a description of the Paricutin
