I am visiting Costa Rica in May, and I would like to get some good volcano viewing in. I noticed you didn't have Arenal in your image selections. Any suggestions on where to visit?

Hi Matt,

I am not an expert on Costa Rica, but I do know that Arenal, Irazu, and Poas are all within a day's drive of San Jose. You can get to all three in a regular car. You might check with some of the Costa Rican volcanologists regarding the more remote (and less often visited) volcanoes. Some names to try are:
