How many people died in Mt Fuji eruption in 1707 ? Where can I get information on this eruption?

Dear Justin,

According to Volcanoes of the World there were no fatalities from the 1707 eruption. This flank eruption was explosive and generated mudflows. It did cause damage. The eruption started December 16 and ended about February 24, 1708. You might be interested in the references listed below.
