If I was interested in visiting Montserrat to do some scuba diving, what
precautions and preparations could I make to insure my safety and would how
would my travel plans for my return trip home be affected?

Dear Pam,
I wouldn't go to Montserrat now. No one can predict if the volcano will
erupt catastrophically or simply at the nuisance level. There are many great
places in the Caribbean for scuba diving. Go to one of them this summer
and save Montserrat for later.
