I am a 7th grader doing research on the 1973 Heimaey eruption in Iceland. I have not found much information on the internet. Do you have suggestions?

Hi Charli,

Time-Life books used to put out a yearly compilation of Earth events (eruptions, earthquakes, floods, etc.). I don't think they do that anymore but I do think there was one for 1973. You might have to go to the library or perhaps a used book store to find such a book. I don't know for sure, but I imagine that National Geographic magazine probably did a story on the eruption as well and they have a pretty good index to their stories.
