What is the history of El Misti, Peru? How and when was it born, active, inactive, how old is it, how many times has it erupted?

I don't have all the info you wanr but here's is what I found. El Misti is a stratovolcano with a summit height of 5,822 m. Confirmed eruptions are known in about 1454, 1677, 1784, and 1787. The volcano may have also erupted in 1542, 1599, 1826, 1830, 1831, 1869, and 1870 (volcanologists are uncertain if eruptions happened in these years). Most of the known eruptions were moderate size explosions. If you have photos of El Misti we sure need one.
