West Maui volcano viewed from East Maui volcano. On this rare clear day you can see the old caldera of the West Maui volcano defined by its back wall that is catching sunlight and the other side of the triangular dark peak. This caldera has been enhanced by erosion and is usually full of clouds. In the background is East MolokaTi. (December 1992)
