under the joint cooperation of the Lisbon University and Azores University.
Their current projects include:
- Azores volcanological and seismological monitoring.
- Volcanological mapping of Pico,
S. Jorge,
Gracion Islands.
- Petrological and geochemical studies of the Azores.
- Marine Volcanology (I - Terceira/S. Miguel).
- Furnas Volcano Laboratory.
